Afghanistan will face Ireland in the second T20 match which is to be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun on February 23. In the last match, Afghanistan beat Ireland by 5 wickets, thanks to some great performance by Mohammed Nabi with both bat and ball. Nabi was the top scorer for Afghanistan. He scored a breezy 49 off just 40 deliveries. Najibullah provided great support with the bat as he scored 40 off 36 balls.
Afghanistan bowlers had restricted Ireland to 65/6 in 11.4 overs. Then it was left to Dockrell and Poynter to take Ireland to a competitive score of 132 in 20 overs. They scored 34 and 31 respectively and remained at the crease till the end of 20 overs. In the second T20 we expect the experienced Stirling and Kevin O Brien to come good with the bat.
